**Your payment serves as acknowledgement and agreeance to the terms listed below
All products are produced in a home kitchen not inspected by a health department that may also process common food allergens. If you have safety concerns, contact your local health department. It remains the responsibility of the client to inform guests, if needed, Sweet Creations by Tracey is not responsible for any allergic reactions. (Products contain Wheat, Eggs, Milk, Soy, Peanuts, Tree Nuts)
Payment ~ Payment in full is required to place an order. Payment is made within 3 days of receiving invoice/quote. Please refer to payment information for accepted tender.
Pickup and Delivery ~ Let me know you have arrived by texting 630-742-9455, and I will bring the order out to you. Prompt pick up is encouraged. Please text if you are running late. Delivery and set up is required for some multiple tiered special occasion cakes. Delivery is a minimum of $1.00 per round trip mile from Channahon, IL, and is discussed prior to placing order. Once the cake has been picked up or delivered, it becomes the client’s responsibility. In hot weather, please have your air conditioner running on high, and place the cake where the air will get to it, either on the floor, or in a hatch back area. A cake placed on car seats or on a passenger’s lap is not recommended as they are not a level surface. Sweet Creations by Tracey is not liable for any damage that may occur thereafter, including car travel, someone bumping a table, a cake stand or table collapsing/breaking, child damage, or any other possible causes.
Guest Count ~ The size of the cake layers will be adjusted to accommodate the correct number of servings based on an industry standard slice of 1 inch wide and 2 inches deep. Cake layers range from 2”-6” tall. For taller than 4”, cake slices will either be cut in smaller slices (1x1), or can still be cut 1 inch by 2 inch, placed on a plate, and then cut the slice horizontally to get 2 servings. Sweet Creations by Tracey is not responsible for shortage of cake due to incorrect guest counts.
Design and Colors Disclaimer ~ Sweet Creations by Tracey provides inspiration and idea photographs. If you would like me to duplicate one of my previous cakes, the actual product may vary slightly based on the designer’s creative interpretation, while maintaining the integrity of the overall look.
You may choose to present a photograph from another decorator to Sweet Creations by Tracey to duplicate. The design will not be duplicated exactly due to copyright infringement on the original design, supplies available, level of difficulty, etc. Let me know what your favorite parts of the cake are and I will design something similar. Sweet Creations by Tracey reserves the right to determine the level of replication and creative license, and reserves the right to make alternative recommendations. For your color scheme, every effort will be made to provide as close of duplication to your colors. A color palette or pantone colors are helpful to send if you want specific color matching and I will do my best to match. Sweet Creations by Tracey reserves the right to determine the quality of the color match. Icing color has a tendency to change with time, humidity, direct sunlight, and heat. Darker colors may temporarily stain teeth and have a bitter flavor; a replacement of fondant may be suggested, even then, red, black or any dark color may be bitter. It’s recommended darker color fondant be removed before serving. Black buttercream starts as a chocolate base.
Copyright ~ I am unable to duplicate any characters, sports teams, school logos, etc... that is copywritten material. I will decorate in the colors to match your theme, but am unable to duplicate in fondant, icing, or edible images. You may choose to purchase a licensed topper in your theme, let me know ahead of time so I can decorate accordingly and incorporate the topper in the design. I can email you some examples of cakes I have done in this manner.
Photographs of your cake ~ Sweet Creations by Tracey reserves the right to photograph and use the photos of the client cake for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, without compensation to the client.
Changes ~ Reasonable changes to the client order may be made up to 2 weeks prior to the date of event. Additional costs may be incurred. When possible, Sweet Creations by Tracey will accommodate any changes you request, including but not limited to, number of servings, flavors, and decoration/design. Changes will be reflected on the invoice. After the 2-week lockout date, no changes will be accepted.
Cancellation Policy ~ If a cancellation occurs 14 days prior to event date, any money paid will be refunded. If cancellation occurs within 14 days prior to event date, 50% of money paid will be refunded, as your order is underway, ingredients, supplies and time have been invested, and other orders for your day have been turned down.
Obligation ~ Should an unforeseen event occur which prevents Sweet Creations by Tracey from fulfilling their obligation to the client; any payments made will be refunded in full.
